Any running advice?
I am currently training for the Chicago Marathon on October 22. I have never run a marathon before, so I'm open to any advice that any of you have. I know some of you bloggers have got to have run a marathon before.

Rhett,
Start with some long slow runs, depending on fitness level as of now, let's say 30 minutes, adjust as you see fit. When the soreness goes away after a few weeks, then mix it up with the following. Two-a-days, increase time by 5-15 minutes every ten days or so, mix in a long run morning, with a long speed work evening....email me with any other Q's...just impressed that you are doing it!

I used to be so athletic...but in the 10 years I've spent out of school I am...not. Good luck with this...I will be taking note off these comments as I really should start running again.
